You will learn how to teach power yoga classes that are based on intuitive sequencing, alignment and breath while encouraging freedom, strength and fun on the mat. In addition to the power yoga format you will also learn an alignment focused, slow, meditative format.

The $39 for 30 days deal for newcomers was the best decision I made while home for the holiday season. Our family was going through a rough patch during this Christmas in 2018, and VIDA hot Yoga helped me during this troubling time. The staff was amazing and friendly and genuinely cared for their customers. This was undeniably the best part of their hot yoga practices. Kingsport has a genuine lifestyle business in town! 100% would recommend. K. Trey Pro

Yoga has been an amazing outlet for me in many ways! I was coming off a back surgery and needed something to help rebuild strength! The heat has helped relieve the everyday aches and pains that I feel and I am regaining my strength as well as my confidence! It has also given me that time of peace and refocusing so that I am more present for my family … especially my little boy!

Lastly,I have met some really amazing people and look forward to furthering my practice! Toni H.

I’m a wife, mom of two, and a RN. Between children, working full-time, and being a wife, I didn’t make much time for myself. I “let myself go” on the journey, and I was not happy with where I was at. Two months ago, I walked into this yoga studio with a friend. I had just had my second child via c-section. I had no expectation or goals. I was just terrified. While there are people of all fitness levels that practice here, you do immediately notice the elite. I had almost talked myself out of even belonging there before I even tried it. Boy was I wrong. So wrong.

We started small, but my goals just organically got larger. This practice just sucks you in like that. My first goal was just to adjust to the heat. Then only step outside twice a class. Only step outside once a class. Only go down to my mat and rest three times. Two times. Maybe once. Two months ago, I couldn’t lower myself down from a plank ON. MY. KNEES. Today I can get through an entire class and keep up. I feel strong. I’m a better Mom. I’m a better wife (my husband now says he’ll pay that monthly membership all day long). I’ve dropped two jeans sizes. You guys, I have arm muscles popping up!

So do yourself a favor and walk in the front door. You will be welcomed by a staff that wants to see you succeed with your own goals. They’ll probably even have wine. And sometimes a really cute little dog named Gerty that I desperately want to dognap. Take the modifications they give you. When the front row starts doing inversions and standing on their heads, use it as motivation and guidance, do not be intimidated! And if you still are, join me in the back. I’m the girl that’s doing her planks on her knees and dang proud of it! Blair J.

I’ve been to a regular yoga studio before but I went to my first hot yoga class here. I attended the Hot Power Yoga class taught by Ashley Davis. She was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed, such as the towel for my yoga mat and water. She made sure to let me know it was an intense class, and to feel free to drop to child’s pose or do a different pose if I needed. The studio is very clean and there is a parking garage right behind it, so it’s a great location in downtown Kingsport. Alicia S.

I’ve done all forms of exercise (running, spinning, lifting weights, etc.) and after 1 year of power yoga, this is the strongest I have ever felt. Exercise has also been something that helps me mentally but yoga has taken it to a new level. This is the best my mental health has been in years and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you VIDA!
